I took mine to get repaired for this issue a week ago. The repair shop are very slow and I will only get it back on Tuesday this week. And by the sounds of it this update could have solved the job.

Sadly, Vegas will cost you more for a week than SF (if you want to do it "right").
It all depends what you want to do in Vegas. If you're wanting to go to restaurants, shows, and/or spa then $1500 is plenty for a few nights of that and you'll have some left over for quarter VP/slots. If you're wanting to go to the club and buy 4 bottles every night...then $1500 isn't going to get you very far.

THAT is exactly what Im talking about. All you people bitch and complain about new things/developments that Apple might be working on (and later announce) and at first you all hate it. Then you get used to it, and then one day you find you love it. I hope the iPhone does come out and you all hate it and it becomes a phenomenal success....the same case the iPod once faced. Same with the new names (MacBook). Same with the switch to Intel (now look how lucky we are). Same with the Intel integrated graphi...well...no one likes those actually, but my point is stop thinking you're going to hate it because you're most likely going to end up getting it anyway.

jeez, 8 whole mega pixels??? Wow fruit, welcome to you sure are being generous here. My android phone has 8mp and it came a full year ago... The pictures it takes are pretty sweet compared to my friends i(paidtomuch)phone4. I'm not trying to bash anyone but I see a lot of fruit boys on here saying they are OK with whatever fruity says. Ya'll really need to revolt or something because that's not right. I guess once the specs are finalized, we will see a 10+ mega pixel camera on either android or windows phone? I have no idea..
I will suggest that perhaps a physical side camera button like the Windows phone has for taking pictures would great because with a touchscreen it is hard to tell if you took a picture in a noisy environment when you can hear the click.

I really don't get all of those who constantly are saying things like "Don't care for them, they were before my time . . . " or "They're so old, they're not relevant . . .", etc. Really? I just don't get it. Monet, Davinci, Bach, Cole Porter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday and Charlie Parker were all before my time, yet I appreciate them. Having an artist being born before your time shouldn't have anything to do with "appreciating" them. That's the whole point - art is timeless. All kinds of music was being played in my house when I grew up. My dad played primarily four kinds of music in our house: classical, tango, opera and jazz and I got exposed to all of them - everyday. But all kinds of music would be played, not just these four kinds. While the Beatles were not one of the groups constantly being played on my dad's Hi-Fi, my parents did appreciate them and would play them on the radio once in a while, just to expose us kids to them. This, I believe, is one reason I listen to ALL kinds of music today. Not only do I listen to the classics, but also to many current and obscure artists of today. And I am doing the same with my son. He is exposed to all facets of music and art and has a great appreciation of all kinds of music. And you know who's his favorite? Louis Prima. My son's 6 years old and he couldn't care one bit when Louis was born. Not one bit. My dad would be proud.

i find it hard to believe that apple has had almost a year to add improvements to the ipods and all we're gonna see is upgraded hardrives.. dont they have an entire division working on these ipods.. they must have figured something out in that amount of time

I love how everybody is like "I've got the CDs who cares" or "Buy the CDs they are cheaper". The Beatles on iTunes isn't for you. It is for people who don't buy CDs, it's for the future when the majority of people get digital music and it's certainly for a whole generation of kids who won't know what a CD is or care, in the same way that vinyl is now seen as archaic.

Besides all the other points here, it would be nice to acknowledge Obama was never in any sense an anti-war candidate. He campaigned aggressively on escalation in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which he had always supported. If democrats supported him as such, they were quite simply misinformed or weren't paying attention. Of course, the GoP also tried to attack him as an anti-war candidate, which makes the attacks of warmongering especially hypocritical. Especially compared to the Bush doctrine we just got out of. It's bizarre that the GoP are so quick to say that Obama is "the same" as Bush, but continue to support Bush and the actions the GoP took under him. People like Newt are the worst - calling for action on Libya until Obama takes it, then instantly criticizing the president.
I really can't fathom the fuss over this Libyan thing while we still have troops that are dying every day in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Especially since the GoP refuse to acknowledge that Iraq "the sequel" as the disaster it was, while at the same time condemning the Libya engagement as excessive.
If Rand Paul opposed those, good for him, but he certainly doesn't represent the majority of the GoP or even the TEA party.

i'm in the camp that doesn't care if this developer wants to take his toys and go home. i'm not a huge facebook user... heck... i pretty much only have a facebook account so i can "fan" people or companies to keep up on stuff. i can't be bothered with all that wall posting and the games... OMG the games :rolleyes: i just don't have the time for all that nonsense... so he can go ahead and take his toys.... i'll just read what i need to with the version i have or read it online later when i think about it (which is pretty much what i do now... i'm lucky if i check facebook once a week.)
