I am not sure if it would be counted as out of status, but it would definitely violate the terms of the H1 visa, if your employer is not paying you at least the minimum amount specified in the H1B LCA.

This is a totally wrong message someone out there put out to make people nervous. Application support centers do no have IO's. The only IO's you will meet would be at a different USCIS facility where you take appointment and stand before the counter and ask the questions.
There will be no reason why someone would meet a IO at the fingerprinting place which generally have technicians and security to monitor the process. You sit in a waiting room alongwith 100 other people, then once your name is called, you do the fingerprinting and get out of the door.
There is no time to mingle with IOs nor there will be IOs(friendly or not) who would be willing to disclose any information to you.
Some people online gloat at having pleasure to spread disinformation. this seems to be the case...

Except for those still living in denial, we know that if anyone actually "DID" anything to cause the reversal of July Visa Bulletin... it was Hon. Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, Ms Gabriela Ptasinska who filed a lawsuit from Chicago, and Immigration Voice!
Now,
1) Calculate the amount of money YOU saved by not having to re-apply for your and your family's AOS under the new fee structure (and who knows after how many years into future?)
2) Look at the amount of money your spouse can now bring home as he/she is eligible to work with their EAD
3) Add the medical examination fees
4) Add money you would spend on photocopies/ courier charges/ driving to your lawyers office to sign the papers
The list is long, and all of it is now part of your "savings" largely due to the efforts of Immigration Voice!
And even after saving so many $$, people think $50 a month is too much to ask for?? And that too, when this is going to help bring you even closer to the one document that you think about everyday?
That sounds like "penny wise pound foolish"!

I feel if one takes Info pass in September and pursue them(IO) to order VISA number for you as you are current in September. If one visits in August then its difficult to pursue them to order visa Number.

November 6, 1986, may face fines of up to $3,000 per employee and/or six months imprisonment.
So the worst that could happen is that our friend ends up paying $3,000. Also note that I-485 will be in trouble if and only if the prison term in more than 1 year (or) if the beneficiary had failed to include his arrest record on his I-485 application. When USCIS is protecting illegal aliens through "U Visas", wouldn't they be considerate on a case involving the baby of a legal alien?
Going by the above, it makes sense for "thunderbolt" to take help from a qualified attorney and report this case to cops. Posting the video in youtube or bashing the Nanny is Sulekha/citysearch is all fine. But when you child grows up and asks what you did when he was abused as by the nanny, you don't wanna answer "Dear child! I took the video footage of the abuse, showed it to my friends and posted it on you tube and then I bashed her with my comments on sulekha/citysearch."
Hence if there's any justice to be done for the poor soul who couldn't even express himself, then take the evil nanny to cops. Or else you're just letting everyone to walk all over you like a doormat.

If the same individual create multiple IDs on IV and post using multiple IDs, one for posting derogatory comments and others that are not derogatory, we can keep mum to a point, but then it just gets too frustrating. Like in this case, madhuvj and GCStatus is the same person posting from the same machine but posting as if you are two different individuals. Hence my posts. Please stop this and email/pm us your phone number and we will start the transition process. We are sure you will do a better job than us.

We can either spend our time looking at who is using multiple forum ids to post similar messages creating a false impression for other forum visitor, like the one projected in 'if i can be blunt' thread, or we can spend our time doing better things. 2. Put a comment on the sulekha ad itself for this nanny (i dont know if you can do this).
3. Put comments on City search site. citysearch.com
4. Scare that woman away saying that you have found out that she is hitting the baby and you can complain to the cops.

Senthil has articulated legal basis of current system. However, many members feel agrieved by current situation. My displeasure with current law was based on my perception about principles of natural justice and a dogma that one measure (current provisions) should not negatively impact others basic rights for happiness, equality, nondiscrimination etc. Courts could take a look at how much damege or injury is possible or actually already resulting (stalled careers, family separation, life on hold, creativity-innovation halted) in current system. Atleast it will open up healthy debate and rational measures to address genuine problems.
